The Lamno Road is the only road one needs to walk down before being called a man. That’s right, the answer to Bob Dylan’s question is “one”!
Oh please, spare me…
Yessir-ree, the Lamno Road. That fantastic piece of highway from the Banda Aceh megalopolis to Lamno town. Boasting a combination road surface mix of tar-seal, sand, and gravel! Why, just take a look at this stretch of the beauty:
I’m not amused. You can’t pass off lightly the face that the tsunami swept through here, I mean, look at the rows and rows of coconut tree stumps on the beach:
Hey, what the hell are you doing in the picture?
Ok ok, so tsunami road voyeurism isn’t your thing, but how ’bout this: coastal road cruising. Yessir-ree, this is the beach, just metres from the road:
Well yes…
Or how about large open spaces, mountain backdrops, and low population densities?
Looks nice…
Rice paddies and semi-domesticated animals?
Is that a goat?
And now we’ve come to the end of the road:
What happened here?
It’s the end of the road.
Yes I see that, it looks like there was a bridge that got swept away.
Still I can’t let you go.
What??!
It’s unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you.
Ok, ok.. Geez..what’s with you and the cheesy hits?
