FrogInMyThroat is launched!

15 December 2002, drip fed via a 56k modem from an internet cafe near Psar Thmei, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, whilst overstaying my visa, FrogInMyThroat is born!

Why?

  • Inspired by Sam’s travel site
  • Wanting a more permanent record of my travels to show my unborn children (“back in the good old days, traveling in SE Asia…blah blah”)
  • Birthed from the loins of the group email
  • To keep in touch with family and friends and
  • Maybe provide some useful info to travellers
  • So there are still a few php/mySQL errors, and I’ve got to sort out a .com domain name, but what the hell, internet domination is near! Mu-hahaha!
